Education, Experience & Expertise
Dr. Karen Ellinwood, for nearly a decade, has done "education consults" to support clinician and classroom educators, and provide guidance for innovative instructional design and education technology use.
Prior to her work in medical and interprofessional education, Dr. Ellinwood was a social studies teacher in a bilingual school. Education consults are for any educational program from K-12 to university or clinical settings.

Professional Development includes online courses and workshops for educators and other professionals to guide and support improvement of curriculum, teaching, communication, teamwork, and feedback.
Consulting services will assist educational organizations or institutions in developing new or enhancing curriculum, faculty and peer evaluation processes, and supporting the implementation of innovative approaches to active learning in face-to-face or online settings. Services may also include guidance for writing grants, designing research, analyzing qualitative data, and publishing manuscripts.
